For those of you who have read Jett Landry: The Fuse and Jett Landry: Urban Legend, thank you. And to those who have left a review, thank you as well! I appreciate the support and the feedback on these books.

Yesterday I did a read through of the current draft of the third book in the Jett Landry Saga: The Fierce Warrior. So far so good. It has emotion, action, relationships, suspense… pretty much what you expect from a Jett Landry novel and a lot of twists and turns along the way. It’s gonna be an intense adventure. I’m excited about this novel, but there is still a lot of work ahead. I’m making revisions before I send it to the editor and Beta Readers. Soon Micky and I will sit down to talk about the cover art. So it’s in the works and I can’t wait to get it to out there for you to read.

After The Fierce Warrior, there will be a new series of Jett Landry stories in the Port City universe. We’re just getting started and there are a lot of stories to tell.

Oak’s steady escalation of the risks and personal tragedies that Jett faces, and her courage in the face of relentless harrowing circumstances along with her ability to outthink and outgun the scores of dangerous criminals on her trail, make her a memorable heroine. The secondary characters, including Diana, Melinda, Mike among others are equally convincing. Blood-soaked battles add to the thrill, and the concrete plotting and precise prose keep readers flipping pages. The novel’s tone is dark and melancholy which suits Jett’s tragic circumstances. Loaded on action as well as emotions, this swiftly-paced action thriller argues that even the most vicious battles with criminals are less harrowing than the struggles within the psyche. This is a winner.

Jett Landry: Urban Legend is coming soon. The original plan was for a late summer release but Hurricane Laura put us behind a little as some of us skipped town, others rode out the storm and lived without electricity for a while. We’re about a month away. I’ve been working to promote this project. I appeared on the Podcast Beaumont Y2Z recently. I did a book signing and discussion at Shabby Shabby Antiques for First Thursdays on Calder here in Beaumont in August.

Urban Legend is the second book in the Jett Landry Saga. It picks up four years after the events of Jett Landry: The Fuse. It’s wild ride. Lots of action, emotion, character development and an introduction to some new characters I think you will enjoy getting to know.

I’ll update everyone again as we get closer to publishing.
